Halloween Poems
What Would a Ghost Wear
a ghost. a ghost.
a ghost you ask...
what would a ghost
wear for a
halloween mask?
why a human,
a human,
a human face
mask of course.
he'd go door to door
on halloween night,
following amongst
the children in their
candy search plight.
he'd ring every doorbell
while holding out his bag.
then just as you'd get close,
he'd smile, shout boo and
take off his mask.
Halloween Halloween
halloween. halloween.
oh what fun.
dress up as ghosts,
goblins, monsters
and demons.
heros, witches and aliens
shuffling through the streets
in the dark of night,
collecting buckets full
of tasty candy treats.
halloween. halloween.
the very best night.
costumes. candy.
parties and screams.
pumpkins become
jack o lanterns.
spiderwebs all a spook.
ghosts haunt the tree tops
vampires stalk the roofs.
halloween. halloween.
please come quick.
i want to wear a costume
maybe be a witch.
or a lion. he me roar.
or batman. the in my cape.
oh. i can't decide.
so many costumes
and they're all so great.
power rangers.
star trek.
and don't forget
wolverine.
costumes. costumes.
costumes. yay for halloween.
superman. wonder woman.
batman and the joker.
spider-man. iron man
and of course, clone troopers.
so many costumes.
so much fun to be.
come quick. come quick.
hurry up and get here
halloween.
